In 1963, Frances Houseman baby, daddys sweet girl, goes with her family to Station Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. Baby grew up in a privileged environment and all expect her to go to college, join the Peace Corps and save the world before marrying a doctor, like his father. Unexpectedly, Baby falls in love with the instructor of dance camps, Johnny Castle, a man whose background is very different from yours.
